Workflow update
Okay so I think some scenes I am going to have to render either via 3Delight or Filament because when I attempt to render those scenes with Iray right now they cause my entire system to lock up requiring me to restart my machine.
This will obviously result in their being an obvious quality disparity in the images between some scenes. 3Delight just isn't as good as Iray in my opinion and while Filament can produce okay results as it is currently implemented their are still a number of things it struggles with.
Obviously once I am able to upgrade my system with hardware that will help enable me to speed up renders I will go back and re-render those scenes in Iray.
But at least for some of these early releases this is just going to be a fact of life. Here is to hoping that computer hardware prices return to normal soon and I can get my hands on some decent hardware.
