0.4.0 Briefing

So it has been about a little over a month since the release of 0.3.0 of Andromeda.
It is about time to give a progress report regarding 0.4.
This update is going to be longer then previous updates, currently looking at around 400-500 lines of code. This is partly due to splits in dialogue paths depending on choices made in the previous version (0.3). I also want it to feel like something gets done with each update so this update will require more work to get to that point.
Because this update will end up needing to be longer that means their are going to be more images that I need to render to fill out each scene so this update will probably have upwards of 100-200 images depending on how many images I am able to reuse over the course of the update. Because images take so long to render, I can usually render somewhere in the neighborhood of 4-5 images during the 6-8 hours in which I am sleeping. So I'm looking at probably around 320 hours of rendering if I assume it will take the full 200 images and I can render 5 frames over the course of 8 hours. This of course assumes I don't manage to get my hands on an Nvidia GPU for Christmas, though I don't think that is looking particularly likely to happen so yeah rendering is going to take a while.
As for when this update will come out? At best probably sometime in February. Realistically? Probably March. I'm still writing out the script (code and dialogue) and I haven't even gotten started on the setting up the renders scenes.
